Booking

Price per night: from 85 € / room, breakfast included. When a booking is made we require a valid credit or debit card number to secure the room. Bookings more than 7 days before arrival: A deposit equal to at least 50% is required. This deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation policy. Payment of the full booking balance is due 7 days before the day of arrival. If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. Bookings less than or equal 7 days before arrival: A deposit equal to the total cost of the booking is required. This deposit is non-refundable.

Multiple room bookings

We will require a deposit equal to at least 50% of the full booking fee for group bookings of two or more rooms for more than one night.

Arrival times – Check In: We normally welcome guests to the La Lavandière between 17h00 and 19h00. If by any chance this time schedule does not suit you, contact us so that we can agree on a mutually convenient time.

Departure times – Check Out: Between 8h00 and 10h00.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. Our cancellation policy is 7 days, starting at 9h00 7 days before arrival. If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. Bookings made less than or equal to 7 days before arrival are non-refundable. In the event of non-arrival i.e. no-show, full payment will also be taken. We may also apply longer cancellation periods for longer stays, or bookings from abroad.

Exceptions: As we are a small business with only three rooms it means that last minute cancellation of certain types of bookings represents a huge loss of income. We therefore reserve the right to alter this on those occasions. These bookings and their cancellation periods are listed below:

Long stays: four nights or more – two weeks

Multiple: two or more rooms on same night/s – four weeks

Smoking

We do not allow smoking in our house. Regrettably, anyone who has been found to be smoking indoors will be liable to a cleaning charge of up to €250, payable against the credit card held to cover the booking. You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by reserving a room.

Smoking sites are available outside.

Liability

Amenities at the guesthouse are provided at the user’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any injury, loss or damage. Any damage or breakages are the responsibility of the person making the booking. We reserve the right to take payment for breakages to the value of over €20 up to ten days after the stay.  Children under 16 must be under strict adult supervision at all times when on the premises or in the grounds.

Wi-Fi: Wi-fi access is available in the guest rooms and common areas, and it is free.

Pets: Despite the presence of our dog Arthur, pets are not allowed in La Lavandière.
